Checking the CPU Speed of Computer

The following blog discuss the steps to check the CPU speed of computer that using Microsoft XP operating system, Windows Vista and Windows 7.

Finding CPU Speed in Windows XP
# Step 1 :
Click "start" button. Go to "My Computer" option and right click on it. In the right click options choose system properties.

# Step 2 :
After the properties window appeared on the screen, You can find the CPU speed in the system information

Finding CPU Speed in Windows 7 (or) Windows Vista

Step 1 :
Click on 'start' button and select "Control Panel".

Step 2 :
Click System and Security than choose 'System' and a window appears with the processors and speed information.
