What is heartbleed bug?

Heartbleed Bug - Recently, the IT software industry has announced a bug that persists in most of the online services. The bug is named as  "Heartbleed"  and getting rid of this bug is very essential for data security.

    First of all, the Heartbleed bug is not a virus or malware. It is a programming error which is prone to leak the confidential information on the internet to the hackers or attackers. The bug is present in the OpenSSL encryption program (OpenSSL is a security standard which can encrypt the data communicated between the client and servers in online services) which might make hackers or attackers to access potentially essential information and data. This bug also affects the security concerns in the mobile phone applications causing hackers to access the smart phones. 
 
How to fix?
 
        This bug cannot be fixed at the clients end; the service provider should update the error fixed OpenSSL update in their applications. The mobile app users too should update their applications to avail the updated service.
