Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)

Various Windows client applications are created with the help of Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF). It is a part of Microsoft Dot Net framework and it uses the same fundamentals used in Asp Dot Net development.

Applications

Both standalone and browser hosted applications can be developed with the help of WPF and its vector based engine which renders resolution independent graphics. WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) makes use of the features available in XAML (Extensible Application Markup Language) such as 2D, 3D, layout, animation, documents, media, text, typography, data binding, templates etc.

The advanced and great feature in WPF is that it enables the developer to develop application using both back end coding and markup language.
