      Even though there are high end database applications available as open source. Microsoft SQL Server database system is preferred by a large group of business people. Microsoft SQL Server is known for its data integrity and security.

Drawback of Microsoft SQL Server 2008

      A CAL (Client Access License) is a fee imposed by Microsoft Corporation to using the databases. The client has to pay for each processor integrated with the database system. This is a drawback because the CAL on processor becomes expensive while increasing the processor power.
